This game has always had a lonely feel at these large places since I started playing. When I played WoW I used to love walking into Orgrimmar. You could feel the atmosphere somehow. With the auction house crowded with people to everyone standing by the mailbox. It just seemed alive.
The should have less instances for ESD, DS9, K7, Starbase39, memory alpha, and where ever else to get more poeple on the same map. Yeah the lag sucked when walking into Orgrimmar before they got a handle on it.... but it felt alive.
He's dead Jim. Remember? Quark inherited his fortune, but since Morn was addicted to latinum (literally, it's a drug for his species) his fortune was "Worthless gold".
You really need to go back and watch that episode. Morn wasn't addicted to latinun, he was storing it in his second stomach and that's why he lost all of his hair. He spat some up and showed it to Quark at the end of the episode. Not sure how many bars that little bit in the glass would have made, though, probably quite a few.
I would like that every once and awhile there was a party. Also, I agree that at there should be less instances, that would make the game feel much more alive. Also, Cryptic should try and populate planets more. Like the Exploration Planets, Risa, Starbases, etc. Cryptic, try to make this game feel alive. More people, more places. They have an EXCELLENT Alien creator, so why not use it more? Also, with the opening of the Orellius Sector Block, there where a LOT of people on each instance, with no lag and no crashes, so I think that they CAN do this, so yeah, Cryptic, make it so.
The problem with having dozens of people standing around is that if someone tosses a biothermal dampener at five or six people, then the shatter effect causes the game's framerate to plumet for most people.
I haven't seen any dance parties in Quark's lately either, because the dampener cancels emotes, and people are always tossing them in there.
