Is it me, or there is no Klingon Salute in STO? It's just wrong to give a human salute to another Klingon.

Is there a Klingon salute?

Maybe a headbutt?

The background behind human salutes is the knight opening his helmet so that the two could see each other. Klingons might have done the same in the ancient pasts where they were still wearing heavier armors.

A Klingon salute is of the "right hand placed against the chest" variety. This is something that really ought to be in for Klingons. Might even be easy to put in, though I don't know what all is involved in creating character movement...still, it would be a pretty simple set of movements.

More like bump your right fist against the middle of your chest, with the back of your hand directed away from the chest.
Captain Klaa did this in Star Trek V.

If you use the Qapla' emote it does the Klingon salute (fist to chest) along with it.

t's similar, but not quite it.

In the Qapla' emote, there is a salute and a bow. But the Klingon salute is the fist to your heart and then the arm going straight out.

I think you're confusing the Terran Empire salute there.
Fist to the chest, no extended arm, is it.

Watch Star Trek 5 with Klaa's Saluteting Kirk:

9:03 into the video.

Klingons have their fists closed when the arm is extended, Terran Salute has their hand flat out.
