I think it was in one of the recent interviews with all the terrible music, but wasnt it stated that Season 3 would be going live the beginning of Dec so they were going to have it on Tribble for testing around the beginning of next month? Does anyone know where this was said or exactly what was said? Thanks!

I remember listening to that interview with the bad music. Yeah, they said the live would go live around the 2nd Dec. So presumably they'd have it on Tribble before that. Maybe two weeks before? Something like mid November. But I don't think there was a specific date mentioned. Probably whenever it's ready.

IIRC it was from one of the Dstahl podcasts. I think STOked. It would be going live on Dec 2nd and going into tribble in Nov.

Remember, Season 2 was being tested early July and came out the 27th (and was quite rushed).

Season 3 release is scheduled for Dec 2nd.

The Foundry specific testing and Closed Beta starts today (so check your email starting today for invites).

The rest of the Season 3 update is scheduled to hit TRIBBLE in early November. The goal is that when the Season 3 release hits TRIBBLE, the Foundry is then open for everyone to test.

Note that even at Season 3 release to Holodeck - the Foundry will stay in a Beta state.

Unless you're not special, and they don't like you, then you can save yourself the trouble to look for your e-mail.

You'd talked about releasing some special rerun missions between S3 and S4...

Why not cherrypick the best of the Foundry beta missions and hook them up as official Saturday releases between Series 2 and Series 3?

You could coach the closed beta (and later the open beta) testers on some guidelines. And have a little contest.

Maybe list off a few rewards that will be offered for the "rerun" missions and have UGC writers build new missions around the rewards, with the best becoming official?

That would probably subject Foundry to better testing... And since the missions people are testing ostensibly won't be able to be published to Holodeck, gives the testers the added incentive of creating some missions that may go live.
