I've been working on my ship kill Accolades.

I've completed every ship based one except Nausicaan.

Is there anywhere I can find these ships in large amounts?

An Enemy Signal Contact would be preferable, as these are relatively easy to access for a VA,as long as I can find one that doesn't move around, the mobile ones won't respond to my hails.

There are no DSE's using the Nausicans, so you will have to rely on alternate methods for finding them such as Explores or piggy-bagging along with a new char.

I was afraid of that.

The explores are not a reliable method of finding Nausicaan ships.

You only get 5 ships (at best 8) per engagement and the chances those will be Nausicaan ships are incredibly low.

The way I understand it, the highest probabity is those missions will involve cookie cutter aliens, the next most likely is Borg or 8472, then you have the chance of one KDF enemy (Klingon, Gorn, Orion, Nausicaan), Terran Empire or Hirogen. And that last batch are the low probability encounters.

A 1 in 6 chance in a low chance occurance pool would probably take ages to achieve.


I guess I'm going to have to wait until Foundry goes live and make a Nausicaan ESC for myself!

I wonder how many you can make, because I'm probably going to have to do several more to finish my ground kill accolades as well.

Hit up the low level explore area's, I got my Nausc accolade that way. It took a couple of hours and I needed about 50 ships at the time. Do the math.

I'm max level, so they're all low level ones to me!

Is there any cluster/sector where Naausican ship engagements are most common?

Delta Volanis Cluster, Arucanis Arm, Hromi Cluster

kdf is getting a nausican raider escort in november or december, that ship should count when it comes out

A few hours in Delta Volanis finished my Naausicaan ship accolade.


Isn't that Raider Escort a C-Store ship?

Unless you destroyed it in PvP (I'm uncertain if that counts for kill accolades), that wouldn't impact PvE gameplay.

Of course, the introduction of that ship could mean it becomes an NPC ship as well.
