any advice on how to make a bridge officer into a great doctor for my away teams?

Hmmm well I use Medical Tricorder 1, Vascular Regenerator 1, Tricorder Scan 2, and Nanite Health Monitor and that seems to work well.

The hyposprays are all very situational so I can't say I'd ever pick them...

the 2 I have been jumping between using have the following setup:
1. med. tricorder 1, med. tricorder 2, sonic pulse 2, nanite health monitor 1
2. hyposprea-dylovene 1, med tricorder 2, hypospray melorazine 1, nanite health monitor.

is there any advantage or disadvantage to stacking multiple tricorders?

First off, start with a Betazoid (for their base traits of Empathic and Telepathic) and if you can get one with Resilient or Stubborn on top of those, all the better.

Then I favor this lineup tyman states, though my CMO has med tricorder 1 & 2 and vascular regenerator 2. I used to have Neural Neutralizer in the LCDR slot but the AI is really stupid and she always ran into groups of mobs to use that ability. Remembering to turn it off immediately upon making landfall was more of a headache than I wanted to deal with. So I dropped it, same as Cover Shield on my ENG BOs.

hehe yes cover shield is horrible for BOs to have, they use it so compulsively and then weird things happen... seen one slide along the length of a room O,o
