You think you have it bad due to update?

I took a break from STO and decide to restart today! Clearly not the best idea.

Currently downloading update(s) and have reached the dizzy hieghts of 12% done in the last HOUR.

So you miss a days play or two! Surely that is outwieghed by the (potential) benefits.

Any way, it aintent just STO!

I am currently waiting on maintainance to complete on another game today!

Maintainance happens otherwise the game(s) stagnate and bugs do not get addressed or content added.

And, just so you know, I was with STO before official launch! So I know how it was with constant drop outs / downtime (often not announced) way back and have some sympathy with you. I really think the 'issue' you are complaining about is minor though.

Not to complain, but I am curious when the website will be back up
