The Klingons are at a disadvantage due to the lack of star base in the psi velorum sector block. It would be really nice for there to some sort of "forward outpost" where klingons can change ships, access a bank and have avialable all the perks that SB-39 offers all of the federation players.
I know many Klingon players are sick of the long shuttle drive between Qu'onos and the new feature series. If this would be added sooner than later, you would make many people happy.

Like a hidden Nausicaan base in an asteroid would be perfect!

Adding a base is not something they can do over night. Frankly the only logical place for a Klingon base would be in Pi Canis.

We do need a nearby base. Feds have SB 39 which is practically next door. Klinks having something in Pi Canis would be perfect. Isn't it Klink territory anyways? The Nausican asteroid base idea is a winner. Maybe just do a redress of SB 39 so it's Klingafied like K-7/Ganada is and we're done.

I really don't think it is necessary for Klingons to have a base in Psi Velorum since all to do there is the Hirogen DSE (for Hirogen ship accolade work) and the new Romulan Episodes.

Now if Romulan Space is opened up, then I wouldn't mind seeing a Khitomer Base (once Khitomer Sector is added).

I was looking at some maps and it showed that Star Base 24 and Khitomer where both in Pi Canis.
