In that case I just got the tar kicked out of me in a googly-moogly furball of several matches by BobTheYak and his friends and Trinity of TSi.
It was great fun, but Bob cheats by naming his Sci vessel Cupcake which really distracts me when I'm "conditioned" and unable to resist the temptation to want to eat something. Performance enhancer my haired covered glutious maximous.
Also I'm rusty as all grethor and really sucked - but it was Bob fault. That OP hacking dunder head. :p
Seriuosly, I had a blast and hope to be up to par and provide all of those involved (and Bob) with a better game in the future.
OK, I'm not trying to be a smart......er....rear end here, but I'm a little confused. If i post a link to an image with swear words in it, that i have censored said swear words by covering some of the letters, Is that allowed?
The answer to that is in the forum rules: 8. You may not use vulgar, harmful, harassing, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, racially/ethnically charged or otherwise objectionable language. Abbreviations, self censoring, and attempts to circumvent our censure software also violate these Guidelines. If your post contains a word that is censored by our software, you must remove that word or the post will be removed. If you feel that the software censor is acting in error, please contact us.
^- Yes, that is a huge blanket - but that is how the forums need to run.
It should not be the place for anything mentioned in the rules - because for the use we wish to have on these forums, none of that is needed. Ever, ever.
If so, how come you allow these chats in the game? If taking a screenshot of an in game chat & linking to it in the forums is worth a warning or infraction, obviously cursing in game must not be allowed either, right?
We do not allow it in the game; however our GMs do not actively moderate each user's chat as much as we can on the forums. There IS a swear word filter, as was mentioned. If it is turned off, that is one thing less we can do to protect our users from such language in general. If you REPORT someone who talks to you this way, we will always ask you to:
Put them on your ignore list;
and: Report them to the GMs.
Do not reply, do not try to pay back in kind, do not try to fan the flames and "get more out of them".
However, we do not give details on account actions or details on what we indeed do to another player - not in game and not on the forums.
