Recently Tactical Team seems to have become a lot more popular, I believe largely due to the shield balancing it does. But I already have my spacebar bind setup to balance the shields between cannon volleys, isn't that better (no cooldown, always running)?
I'm already maxed out on energy and projectile weapons training for the weapon types I carry, is the extra +18 bonus that tactical team I provides doing anything for me? I thought I was capped at 100 points between the three skills and any bonus above that was just wasted.
When running in a Defiant-R I have one, mainly because I don't have any beams and I already have two of HYT 1. Is there any reason I'd want to have a copy when flying an Advanced or Fleet Escort? I see some people recommending two copies and that just seems like a waste to me.
Tac Team is incredibly useful and you are doing yourself an incredible injustice by not using it. I assume you didnt realize it removes tac buffs from you as well? Yea....use tac team as often as you can.

Think of it as a RSP lite with tactical buff removal for yourself. In my defiant I use 2 copies. Also it helps a little with damage.
Tac team has a number of useful features, notably the fact that it can redistribute shield power to face incoming weapons fire really quickly. Note the 'really quickly' bit. It is much more effective than manually transfering shield power. It is very helpful against alpha strikes and any sudden bursts of dmg against one of your shields. The boost to your weapon systems and the tac debuff removals are nice too, especially as so many people run around with Attack Pattern Alpha, Beta and Delta.

I use 2 coppies on my raptor and 2 coppies on my tank SV.
The reason I love it on my SV is that with transfer shield it like a perma RSP for 10 sec then 5 sec cooldown then another 10 sec 5 sec CD. Basically my shields are imune to all the fire, I even had 8 feds, I tank in kerrat with the switch side bug.
If you not using it , your behind the times and it actually make REG shields good to have for pvp now if you run 2 coppies of tactical team =)

You like to compare things to RSP don't ya!
Well since I removed the power from all my ships, at least I think I have, and when I first started taking PvP seriously I was a multiple RSP using fool but I at least have learned the error of my ways.
