I wunder if there will be remeowstered episodes for early career (like "Stranded in Space") first, or if the STF's will now have the top priority of remeowstering.
Yes, Gozer said in his interview at Priority One that these would be remastered with the changes to ground combat in Season 4. The issue of Terradome was raised several times by the interviewees and they asked if, at the very least, a respawn point could be made to prevent having to repeat an hour of mobs for failing the Sulu stage. Gozer said he'd look at it and that was the last I've heard on the matter. I can understand that they don't want to duplicate matters on a full redo of the STFs but if this small fix (adding a respawn point) could be made, it should be done this week, not months from now.
Judgeing on the expressions of other players, The terradome problem realy shud be fixed, and i havent even played it yet, but by the sound of the glitch, i think its one mission ill skip until this bug is fixed. please take care of this bug. there are a lot of sto plyers out there and we cant enjoy the game with problems like these.
All the Devs have to do is nerf ALL the Undine in Terradome to be LT 10 level or something, ANYTHING to weaken them so that going through those hundreds of Undine is a cake walk.
Same for the Boss and Undine in the Where's Sulu room, so that, if a team has only one chance to save the real Sulu, the weak Undine can be wiped out quickly and easily.
Some might say that this would ruin Terradome. Well, it's been ruined for 9 months and counting, since the release of Season 2 last summer, with no fix in sight.
If the Undine are nerfed as I suggest, then players can at least complete it and see what it is like, and the Devs will have more time to fix it properly, or wait until they put in the proposed sliding-difficulty for STFs.
In this state, the mission should be close rigth NOW. I mean, i still see a lot of ppl asking to make a team for Terradome when i am on Gamma Orionis.
With out the respawnd point outside the boss room, this mission would be close untill its get fix!
Most STF's are built to allow certain career paths to excel (example: Tactical = Infected, Science = Cure).
One of the main problems people have with this STF is with the Engineers staying alive.
What if this STF was designed for Engineers, let me explain.
Lets say that the Undine kill one engineer, but good news you have an engineer in your group that
can hop on that console and take over.
Now the ideal situation is that you keep all the Undine away from the NPC engineers, but in the case that you lose one you can have a teammate that is an engineer take over within a certain time frame.
So as long as you have as many NPC engineers that you lose, on your team, you can keep going.
Or if thats too much to ask for then at least let us revive the downed engineers within a certain time frame before if fails the mission.
After this part of the mission is done please put a darn spawn point in place.
Leave the "Where's Sulu" part alone as long as it loads correctly anyway.
This STF goes relatively smooth until The Trial of Janus. This just sucks the life out of my team. By the time we get to Where's Sulu? we try our best to beat it on our first shot. If we leave and decide to come back at a later time, which we decided to do the last time we attempted it, we just don't have the motivation to run through all those Undine again. I also think putting a respawn point outside the boss room would be very beneficial.
