i'm a lifetimer who left a few months or less into launch cause there was pretty much no ground combat which I prefered to space combat and exploration was just a few of the exact same missions instead of exploring as in seeing the sites and making random awesome discoverys and such. There also was major bad lag.

Wondering did it improve in those areas by much at this point? Is game still going strong or players leaving alot?

Is there a good endgame yet? Ship interiors any good?

Ground combat hasn't changed much, though it is supposed to get an over haul with the season 4 release. Exploration is still the same, I don't know if it will ever get to the point that you are talking about. Mostly I think it's just a way to earn points and gear. The lag and performance problems have been taken care of. I haven't had any issues since the middle of last year.

And the game is going strong. According to the financial figures it's earning some serious money for the company. And there's been the occasional person making a big stink about leaving because of this or that, but I see a lot of new people in the ESD chat when I'm there so I would think they are adding more. I know some friends I talked into playing and they are all having a blast with it.

Ships interiors are pretty good, the hope is we get a revamp in the future so they all get the detail that the TOS bundle pack got if you purchased it. Because that was fantastic. Like Wow there really isn't an endgame, there just the mission you do until the next harder one is released. Which will hopefully be soon. The last set of missions, cloaked intentions, was a pretty big hit. I know I enjoyed it a lot, and you get some cool gear from doing it.

There's a bit of a slump right now. They're fully revamping ground combat, and pretty much backburnered new stuff until then. Shortly after the new CEO stepped up they made the promise of reorganizing after the revamp is finished and hitting some rapid fire new content, which has a lot of people hopeful.

But, even without the upcoming revamp, ground combat is a lot better than it was at launch simply because they seriously improved bridge officer pathfinding. They don't get stuck on doors or ankle high rocks anymore. They can be a bit wonky on user created missions (the Foundry just went live Monday) but they're still better than they were at launch. The mechanics are no different, but the frustration level of handholding your shortbus officers around when they can't quite figure out how a hallway works is vastly reduced.

They've also started improving enemies, the Romulans and Remans just got a full revamp. They no longer have super healing, but instead have some very dangerous thalaron weapons. They're pretty much lethal, but it's easy to learn how to avoid them, or destroy them before they go off.

Other improvements, the Feature Episodes and Remastered Episodes. The first was the Breen series, which introduced some new challenging enemies, a new sector block, and new dailies. The second was the Devidian series, in the neutral zone, which had some of the best atmosphere in the game, upped the difficulty ante a bit in spots, and added some features like bridge officer mini dialogs that don't fly up in your face and bring the action to a halt. The Romulan series just ended, which pretty much outdid everything in the game - cutscenes, voice acting, superb writing, and a lot of setup for future Romulan and Iconian content. Each one had a limited time reward for finishing them within a few weeks of the last mission being released (Breen tactical officer, Ophidian cane, Reman science officer). None of them are currently available, but there's been talk since the Breen series of having replay weekends where you get a second chance at them.

They've also started remastering existing episodes. The SS Azura got it first, and has a lot of the features feature episodes introduced. P'jem has some changes coming, but I think it wasn't going to be a full remaster. Doomsday machine has been mentioned in the dev tweets, apparently the dev doing the mission feels he's really outdone himself, we'll see when it releases.

Feature and remastered episodes scale to your level, as do Foundry missions, so they'll always give a level appropriate experience, even going back to replay them at vice admiral (which you can do from a console in your ready room). Their rewards also match your level. Feature episodes have all kinds of unique items like the Breen cold gun, tractor beam mines, and the proton rifle.

Another couple of things that ****ed me off were that I was a liberated borg but couldn't get implants for the hands and face like 7 of 9 or her uniform. I also hated how Multi Vector Assault mode on Prometheus didn't exist.

I see for the most part thats in game but how much $ would it cost me is what i'm worried about. Is Multi Vector Assault Mode good? and was it well done? 7 of 9 still look good?

Are shuttles like delta flyer good?

The 7 of 9 costume is one of the better costume sets they've done. I think it's $3.

MVAM is borderline OP in a lot of people's opinions, especially in the upper hull you get some huge bonuses for a tiny loss of hull and shields. You can out run and out turn anything except another MVAM. The two pet sections are still just pets, so they're not great, but they have some pretty good abilities and put out a lot of damage while they last. It's $15 or 500 emblems. You can equip it on the stock Advanced Escort, or the new Multi Vector Advanced Escort, which is identical but has a different bridge officer layout (swaps the LTC tactical station with the LT and ensign science stations). The ship and console are a package deal.

Shuttles are still junk, but there are a couple missions that require you to be in one. The Vault (first mission in the Romulan feature series) is an excellent mission and requires a shuttle, but it's easily doable in a Type-8 shuttle (which you get for free plus a free ship slot the first time you do the mission), or a Danube runabout if you turn up the difficulty, so no reason to feel pressured into buying a Delta for it. The Delta Flyer is a very good shuttle, C-store it's $5 but you can get it by doing a daily quest for ten days that just requires you to collect data samples in a shuttle. Tedious but short. You need crafting skill to do it, but the requirement is very low, 180.
