3 cruiser ships that include:
2 engineers with no healing at all
1 tac in a cruiser who doesn't know how to join a team.

This is the average pvp pick-up group I've run into in the past month. We all know PvP has a steep learning curve but you should really know better by the time you reach admiral. All this has left a bad taste for this game.

I really don't have an hour to wait on 3 newbie players to join a pvp game and waste my time. Either decrease the queues, make pvp easier for those "newbies", or eliminate it altogether. The situation that pvp is in right now is too laughable. I shall be back if it ever gets that fun factor.
1. In PUGs you are not entitled to healing from anyone. It is not anyones responsability to heal the whiny escort. You join a blind group, you are entitled to nothing. NOTHING.
2. In PUGs no one needs to team with you. We all know it is advantageous for many reasons, but ....you are joining a PICK UP GROUP. No one owes you crap, includind teaming. If everyone plays like a pro : awesome. If everyone plays like a first time n00b : expected.
3. Coming to the boards and whining about not getting heals or proper teaming in PVP is N00B. Sorry, you just became what your complaining about.

U mad bro? Sorry, you just became what your complaining about complaining about...etc. It works both ways.

By the same coin, its not anyone's responsability(sp) to stick around either. Everyone could just afk or quit when they join. This was a nice discussion about the difficulty slider in pvp. Don't ruin it.

I'm still searching for that escort to heal...

Alas, this is the way it is sometimes. It's even worse for Ground PvP.

From Wikipedia: Cognitive behavioral therapy (or cognitive behavioral therapies or CBT) is a psychotherapeutic approach, a talking therapy, that aims to solve problems concerning dysfunctional emotions, behaviors and cognitions through a goal-oriented, systematic procedure. The title is used in diverse ways to designate behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, and to refer to therapy based upon a combination of basic behavioral and cognitive research.

Just saying.

I'm having a lot of fun PUGing PvP!

All I need is a ship that hits hard and is able to run fast!

Sux though, when I get picked up by a 4-man premade and can't contribute much to the teamwork, because I'm on one of my PUG alts...

(also, I sometimes PUG with a CC build, just to mess up other players randomly. Let the damage dealers take advantage if they want to.. )

Its all about friends,

The first 6 months of STO I only played fed and maybe made 5 friends. 80% of all pug were bad and disappointing.
Then I started a KDF toon and my friend list trippled if not more. Through the good kdf pvp player I met more and now have a huge friend list. This changed my Sto experiance and made me more addicted

It only takes a few to branch out to many.

I herd pvp channel was good way to make pvp freinds and premades, i just never used it, but it works.

If you are ever on I more than happy to play with anyone who know there basics =). My sig is @ Ironscalet

Also if you see a fleet you like ask to join, there are many good pvp fleets in this game some more open than others, but fleet vs fleet is a totally diffrent game, no more 1hr waiting for a que but 2 hr waiting for someone to loose the match.
