I would rather see them tie the cost of mission slots closer to the actual cost of disk space to store missions though

CONSUMER costs for HD space these days is down to less than a penny per 100MB.... I'm sure their costs for hardware is a bit more expensive though

As previously mentioned, the amount of space needed to store all the info in a mission is huge. Cryptic simply cant afford to allow people to make unlimited missions, and no matter what number they picked it wouldnt be enough for some people.
