There will be a power in there to activate the shuttle and it will follow you.
I see now about how stuff *still* costs even after paying real $/€/£ for it.

But I'm sorry: I still don't follow the above instructions to make the shuttle I bought a pet. I can go switch if to my current ship, but that's all. Where/when am I supposed to do the above steps?

I appreciate all your help, but I wish there were a better manual or guide. The STO wiki is too small, as is STO Academy. They try, though. But you still have to already know a lot to get use of their data. Maybe it's just me (4+ months and still only lieutenant. Took me about 20--30 tries to complete SB 24!)

if you want to have a delta flyer/ type F shuttle/ etc you just have to open the ship status page, wether from a ship changer, or normally if your flying it right now. in the devices slots, there should be something in there if you never touched it yet, THAT is your pet device. Just pull it off the shuttle, since shuttles cannot launch other shuttles anyway, and while its in your inventory and your in space, system space not sector space, activate it. and voila, you got a shuttle following you now.

of course, if you havent redeemed the shuttle as player ship yet, then you cannot do what i just put down, you need to redeem the hsip as the first step. (having the shuttle gives access to the shuttle pet after all.)

Oh....
So it's in my *shuttle's* device slot! I was wondering why I couldn't find it.

And yes, I did make my shuttle my main ship for a quick tour, but it seemed dangerous to take it on Patrol missions (the main type I do).

Thanks!
