Title sums it up, but I'll go into more detail.

I participated in the closed and open betas and played STO from launch for about 5 months. Since then I've come back several times but never really found a solid group of people who were interested in what I was, and lost interest. I've decided to come back again, and am hoping to find a fleet that fits more than others I joined in the past.

One of the main problems I ran into is that STFs, PvP, or RP weren't regularly run, for whatever reason, even though there were plenty of people on and more than likely interested. Another qualm I had with a few is that their structure was full of divisions and complexity that was more than likely not needed.

So, long story short:

My current main character is a tactical officer in an assault cruiser, but, if needed, would be more than willing to fly my Defiant-R or a MVAM Escort for PvP (I'm assuming in my short absence they haven't made PvE hard). I'm a fan of hybrids, so would rather stick with the cruiser, but, again, I'm up for switching things around.

I'm looking for a medium-large-sized fleet that actually enjoys running STFs on a regular basis and takes PvP more seriously than just making a cluster**** - a little RP, whether loose or semi-structured, is always a plus as that can make the game much more enjoyable. I've only tested the foundry a bit before my last LoA and I'm sure a fleet that makes active use of the foundry's services to further RP storylines would be an amazing fit for me.

I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer and find a lot of fun in min-maxing and besting the competition. Serious PvE/PvP play is what I'm used to and for the most part what I'm looking for.

I really look forward to hearing back from anyone who may have an interest in trying me out.

Im also looking for a fleet and i have been given lots and lots of good links to there websites and so on.

I recomend that you look at all the good points and bad points of each fleet before you sign up because a popular fleet isnt allways the best fleet for you.

I can feel for ya. I was in the same boat as you 6 months ago. Till I found Federation Fleet. They have everything to make the game fun. Even with the lack of content.

What I have liked about the fleet is the plp. We get on Team Speak 3 and have a lot of fun. If it were not for the "Friends" I have made in this fleet, I would have stopped Playing STO again.

On the other side. STF's are done all the time. At least daily depending on what is needed or wanted.

There are many that like to pvp. And one shout out can get a match going.

So ya there are things going on. But for me, its the plp that have done it. I could not ask for a better fleet. When they say ---Fun, Fair, and Friendly--- They mean it. And are always willing to help.

PS. this is not just a recruiting message. It is the way I feel.

See above for the Recruiting message. I just had to add my 2 cents.

# 7 Clan Hunters

Hello.

I would recommend that you try out the Clan Hunters chat channel, you can add it by typing /channel_join ClanH in the in-game chat box.

We do about 2-3 STF's daily, we are an international fleet so there is always someone online.

The fleet also has a vent server that is quite busy in the peak hours with several rooms to go to if you want to team up and have a channel of your own.

The members are mature and we got some really basic common sense rules to follow, the rank structure is simple, uncomplicated and automatic depending on time spent in the fleet.

The fleet bank only contains Rare or better items.

We also have a Klingon division as well as a few allied fleets that likes to hang out and team up with us.

If you like what you see you can request an invite to the fleet on the ClanH channel.

Hi Kibaken,

Please take a look at 3rd Fleet, I think that we might be the "solid group of people" you are looking for.

We are a large international fleet with players on most times of the day. We have lots of organised STFs and plenty of opportunities for ad hoc teaming. We also have a few PvP teams and some opportunities for RP, if that interests you.

We do have 3 divisions, but this is merely one each for the English division, the French division and the German division. Each division has a good degree of autonomy but we also play together a lot. We also have a few "task" groups to allow people with like interests to be known to one another and organise their own activities. With your interest in STF's you should consider Alpha, and PVP, check out Beta. We also have a few "hard core" gamers so if you decide to join you should contact Captain Crisler. Finally, we have a few foundry developers in our midst and some big plans to make use of it. If you have interests in that area I'm sure we can find a way to put use to any talents you have.

Hopefully, this post will have stirred your interest and you will check us out at http//:www.3rdfleet.com or check out our vid at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42p-B1wWDuE&hd=1

I just wanted to take the time to let you know about Shadow Dragon Fleet. We offer 110% percent support to our members; We have a fully functioning website (www.shadowdragonfleet.webs.com) and a ventrilo server and we are an in game fleet with active members and a fleet bank and our own fleet channel in game. We buy are players any equipment they need and we have crafters that can craft anything, We are casual, knowledgeable, dedicated, very friendly, willing to lend a hand and assist the player in any way possible and we have skilled players that participate in pve and pvp. Shadow Dragon Fleet is also allied with other powerful fleets. opportunities are given to those who work hard. We also have higher positions available so there is plenty of room for advancement, and we cover all aspects of the game.

If you have any questions about the fleet feel free to send me a message here, or you can contact me through our site.
