I want to Thank you for your personal involvement in the Forum, and in many of the Bug Report Threads that have been posted recently.

I have been on here since last May, and at times, it seemed that the players were Floundering in here On-Their_Own, and that was at times Scary. Without regular in-put from administrators, or at least Moderators, the forum gets slanted badly. It is wonderful to see them more stable!!

Now, back to the topic of the Anomaly Discussion: In the past, I have posted what I thought was a decent detail request for an anomaly issue, and have not yet had an administrator or GM comment on whether or not that suggestion was, or was not valid, or complete to resolve most anomaly problems.

I have posted this in a couple of places:

Is that list relatively complete for the average Anomaly problem, or should other information be added to make it more simple to find the problem in the code?

Thanks.

Solar, I've actually been following the thread up in the Online Discussion and included the link for Development's review. Since it was a "discussion" up there, I didn't want to interrupt. Keep adding data.

I was doing a Google search regarding Elvren IV (I'm at the end of the mission, but have not beamed off the planet yet, as I write this), and there are two of these "anomalies", one toward the east and one toward the west (and a little to the north of center of the map, IIRC). As you start getting close to one, you see the red/orange icon indicator off in the distance. If you go right up to it, an option appears onscreen to do a "Data Scan" - but that's all, there are no resources to get.

Now I'll just mention why I was looking up Elvren IV to begin with (it had nothing to do with these odd non-resource anomalies). The entire time I'm on the planet I occasionally hear a sound that sounds like a dog barking, and as you move around it sometimes sounds like it's closer or farther from you - but you can't seem to ever find anything by trying to move toward the sound. (It's as if "moving toward" the sound doesn't actually get you closer to it; perhaps the sound distance is somewhat random, I don't know). The other thing I was curious about - but I'm not going to spend any more time on it - I was wondering if perhaps there's some secret discovery to make if you can find a way to climb up to the rock layers which are like 50 or so meters above the surface. There are several inclined rock slopes, but I tried looking around and going up a couple of them but none I tried led to the horizontal rock surfaces above. Anyway, just thought I'd make this post, though I don't have any answers, just questions.
