Another good challenge.

Again, though, I'm unsure if I'll be able to come up with an entry--my STO Main feels most at home either on the battlefield or at the helm (he's a combat-fueled Adrenaline Junkie with a love of flying who commands his ship from the Helm Console, what more can I say?), and even if he seeks solitude, it's not "true" solitude--most quiet moments are spent with his wife (who is also his XO) and quite often those moments eventually become a little hot and heavy, If You Know What I Mean, so they're probably not appropriate for this forum.

I'll see if any of my other characters would have an appropriate spot for this challenge, and I might put something in the Latecomers Thread for one of the earlier challenges.

Until then!!

Well, maybe there is a place he likes to go to with his wife? A holodeck program situated in Paris, perhaps, or a desert oasis? (GAH, now I'll have that Sting song stuck in my head the rest of the night again. >.>) And you don't have to go into all the details.

And also keep in mind that different people de-stress in different ways. Tasha Yar for example would hit the Holodeck to train I am sure. Worf certainly did. Scotty strikes me as someone who would have had a Scotch in a Jeffries Tube somewhere near the main engine. We know Picard played music in some really odd places. Various Vulcans have been seen de-stressing in meditation in their quarters. And so on.

Don't be afraid to be a bit quirky, either! These things give your characters profile and character. Odd hobbies can help immensely to flesh out the pixels on your screen.

Well, I might give it a try with my Main. However, the Holodeck would be out almost immediately, because his ship is a Vigilant-Class Tactical Escort Retrofit, and it doesn't really have room for a Holodeck (As this MSD I had made for me clearly shows). Most likely they'd retire to their room, chat for a bit and maybe get a bite to eat, and depending on the time of day and their mood, they'd then get... um... intimate.

We'll see what I come up with for this challenge, though--if I come up with anything at all.

I added mine. I decided to keep it short and sweet.

hrm. I didnt get around to makeing a post last question becuase the circumstances around my character earning hsi command were so complex I couldn't think of a good way to condense the story down. For this challenge I ahve the opposite problem. The answer is about one sentance.

Any advice out there on how to pad a simple answer?

Eh. Never mind. I couldn't think of an interesting story for my Klingon character so I touched up a Story I told for one of my Klingon captains when he was part of the USS Challenger one ship fleet thingie
