Pre-patch has been enabled for Season 4, which launches on the Live server tomorrow.

It is very unlikely that Seaosn 4 will launch on 07.07 since the linked thread says it is going to be a Scheduled Maintenance from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM PDT (2330 - 0200 UTC).

That is season 4 and they have mixed up the time conversion to UTC, it should be 1:30pm - 3pm UTC.
The pre-patching of 1.3GB is just the patcher checking it for any updates, etc.

Same for me.. and I can't actually connect to the live server. I don't recall patching season 4 yet, I've launched the game from the launcher but the patching never actually begins. My current Version is ST.12.20110517a.29

Any help on either of these?

Well as for connecting to the Live Server it's currently down for the deployment of the Season 4 update.
