And considering that at the end of "Lonely Among us" one of the Selay delegates is missing and the ship's chef has been asked to broil reptile...umm yeah those are surely the folks you want to have around.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the Klingons got both of them?
I'd imagine an "incident" of the delegates eating one another before the conference even begins would spark a conflict between the Selay and Anticans, which could be ended by the Klingon mediators far more effectively since they understand the concept of a blood feud far better than anyone else.
