So, no additional fixes to the Luna ship model's geo itself beyond that, in the vein of secondary hull overhaul and such (in reference to those three screenshots). If I understand correctly, those fixes are not on your official schedule, and if they ever get done it'll be because you'll have sacrificed a good deal of break/lunchtime for it?
This is correct sir.

1 note about the ktinga, the one we see up close some of us think is the low poly 'from a distance' model. the ship we do see 'from a distance' now has the neck looking right, warp engine glow, and glowy mission pod up top. if you fly around in sector space you can see them flying around, from a distance. get to close and they change to the messed up player model.

Well, I attempted to make some of that easier for you. I contacted Sean Tourangeau and - while I do not have your contact info to give (and that you can no longer answer to PM in this forum) - I pointed him to your new scifimeshes account. Perhaps you will both be able to share private messages over there, and from there organize more official channels of communication?

Cap Logan - quick question about my Luna. I noticed when I have the borg engines equipped and I warp into a system. I see a green warp trail entering the system before my ship actually arrives. Is this supposed to happen? I notice it while doing B tran missions.

Mission successful! I contacted Sean Tourangeau and he opened communications with CapnLogan over at SciFiMeshes. */em does the peace sign*

Of interest on his DeviantArt gallery would be his USS Titan folder, which can be seen here.

One thing of note: apparently, a group named Starcraft have gone and made several models of ships in the Star Trek IP. The Luna-class was one such ship made into a model kit (and Tourangeau put up pictures of the model on his gallery, so he must approve of it. I found 4 sample pictures which may be of interest:

I really like this one because it gives us a detail close-up of certain elements. Of note for me if the right-most frame, which depicts the bridge of the ship. In game, all we have is a bunch of oval domes stacked on top of the other... but as I once tried to explain to CapnLogan via those photoshopped pictures, the top portion is actually more a circle inside a half-circle (if that makes sense). I'd really like to get the bridge-cake looking like that to make it look less... triple-oval-one-over-the-other.

This is kind of neat to look at, since we seen how they divided the bigger pieces of the prototype model - it's actually divided in a fashion very similar to how the Reconnaissance Science Vessel is in-game.

For the sake of putting it somewhere that the art dudes are paying attention.

A while back the Cerberus nacelles for the Advanced Escort hull were updated so they better connected with the pylons for some of the other types (namely, the Prometheus pylons wouldn't properly 'mesh' with the Cerberus nacelles and the nacelles hung a bit off of the pylons).

The upper nacelles were updated with an addition to their underside that gave a good anchor point for nacelles, letting the Prometheus pylons attach without the 'hanging off' look. The lower nacelles were never updated in this manner and still have that problem. Any chance of looking into this? If nothing else it should be as simple (as simple as things get) as rotating the existing upper nacelle models, since the layout of them is rotated between up and down anyways.

I know sir. I was merely using the vernacular that others attribute to these sort of purchases. Those who don't agree with ship purchases in general would probably agree less with one-time ship purchases per character

Good looking out Zoberraz, Sean has successfully contacted me. We're gonna have a chat this week about the Luna so I'll surely be updating this model before others.
