Hello, I have been having the same problem every time I try to run STO for about a month. This was happening before Season 4 launched.
After login but before character select, something happens and STO turns into a black screen.
There is a grey bar on the loading screen, black backround and CRYPTIC in grey. Once the bar reaches about 75%, the CRYPTIC tag is replaced for a split second with an ATARI tag, at this point the game crashes/malfunctions and all that appears is a black screen.
I have the latest drivers installed, all other games including several MMO's run fine.
Anyone have this before and/or a solution?
