# 1 BOFF free Bridge for RP Idea

II'm a pretty hardcore RPer and so is my Fleet. Everything we do in this game as a fleet is RP. WE have RP ships each with RP Captains, RP Senior Officers, and RP crewmen. We do alot of RP on the Bridge and RP scenarios with each crewmember maning their specific Bridge station.

One of our biggist headaches are all the NPCs sitting and maning various stations and senior officer chairs on the bridge. We have to resort to using the engineer shield popwer manuver to push the NPC BOFF out of the chair and onto the floor. its time consuming, requires alot of skill with trail and error, when u push them they just sit on the floor and ruin the immersion, if you push the BOFF too far away from the chair they get up and sit back down. It is sooooo anoying.

What would really be helpful, would a small button located on the bridge, in the Captain's Ready Room, or in the Starship Editor that would turn off NPC BOFFs on the Bridge... but not in the other decks and hallways. This could be done much like the TOS Window Shields in the TOS Bridge Interior. Just a simple toggle to turn display BOFFs on or OFF.

Im a big roll player too (with my ship and my crew tho) and would like to see this added for you, but would also like added a better rotaion to the bridge stations, I have some Boffs that I have never seen on my Bridge, and thats with the Nomad bridge.

No argument here. I'd like to see it whenever Cryptic does an overhaul on interior functionality.

Not so sure it's going to be a simple change, tho. Yeah, simple from a player's perspective, but no idea what it's like underneath where the isolinear chips are slotted in...

As long as more pressing needs are taken care of before this option is thrown in, stuff like:

More content for KDF
More Borg missions
More End Game content
Make SFA used for tutorial instead of a social hub, target range included.
T5 Akira
Bug fixes
More content
Oh Foundry, can't forget that
filling out the rest of the lower tier ships (be they actual ships or varients) for both Fed + KDF
Playable Romulans and Cardies
An Undine FE
Making sector space one big map and extending the amount of time one can use the slipstream ability
The creation of the Beta, Gamma, and Delta Quadrents with full storylines and missions
Working shuttlebays
More shuttle/fighter missions
A poker game

Thats all the stuff I can come up with off the top of my head atm, but yall can have an empty bridge option after that if the devs and or CBS approves.

wow!!!! lol

all i said was that i want NPC free bridges. Its not like im trying to tell the devs that my priorites overrule anyone elses. You didnt have to throw your anger over not getting what you want in the game at me like that.

And to be honest, if the dev's game editor is anything at all like the one in the foundry, the easiest way to do this would take maybe only 30 mins to do. Make copies of each Bridge, on the copy ones delete all the NPCs, Rename the copys to "Bridgename" (NPC Free), add the txt for the new bridges at the ship editor.

Much more simple then say... making Playable Romulans and Cardassians. lol
