Increasingly in ground pvp, I've seen people running around with toons who don't come up to my knees- these characters are 3 feet high at most.

The question is: how?

I've tried making new characters who are similarly mini, but I can never get them to be quite that small.

Slide all of the size sliders all the way down?

I know which guys you're talking about. They're SMALL.

I know it has something to do with Alien race..

How ever I have to admit, I saw some one even smaller then I could ever make my Alien, Teapower. It was more like a toy in size then a person..

Yeah, I was fighting against an entire team of them earlier.

You can make aliens pretty small, but these guys were even smaller than that.

Roll an Alien. I have one im leveling. They are the most customizable and fun to build toons They can be the smallest or the biggest of all the races and make them look like practically anything

Alien can be the shortest.

Most customizable too.

With the Shooter mode coming, it was only a matter of days before players started to "exploit" the mini character in order to be harder to target via mouse pointer.

In my book, this fits perfectly with all the other dirty tactics like "Security Escort III" some players are willing to go for in order to get any tiny bit of advantage they can. They do not blatantly "cheat" but they want to confuse you. They do not believe in fairplay, only in victory by any means.

Staying in RPG mode and tab-targeting-lock on target defeats mini-character just fine thought.

Edit: This of course will have for consequences, like in most other mmos, for devs to adjust Min and Max size a character can be in order to promote fair PvP which will end, like it always does, affecting players who do not PvP or ever intended to "cheat" the system.

Well, one thing they could do is just automatically resize people who enter a PVP match.

I imagine it'd make the characters look pretty hilarious/ugly, but maybe that's incentive for people to not cheese.

EDIT: Wait a second, what's this hopeless optimism going on here. The dev's aren't doing anything for PVP, what was I thinking?

Hint hint, prove me wrong.

Yep. But if you think that's funny you should see a midget with a minigun.
