I don't think Cryptic has imagined 5 sci ships or BoPs all running a copy of CBP3, with two copies of Torp FAW....

Well, it's pretty. I like the way it looks now though. The question is, how much of an adjustment are they looking to boost effectiveness by? Will it be a more simplistic boost to damage (that will become a stacking nightmare) of will it have a practicle effect that doesn't clear the map? I hope we don't swing from weaksauce to ridiculously over powered...

Same here, though I think either way, any over-reaction on either side would be premature.

Being OP wouldn't be it's only issue... It would also cause alot of lag imo

Well, it certainly is purdy...

Looks like a torp per ship per volley, with maybe 3 volleys...I think we need a PvP weekend on the foundry with this...

I would worry about this also. It could potentially be used to clear spam and I am envisioning someone throwing a quantum or plasma spread at a carrier releasing a cloud of spam, with a trail of mines behind it... Alot of angry GPU's in that picture I would imagine...

i doubt its anything more than cosmetic changes to the graphics and animation of torpedo spread.

and you are accurate. wow. thats a lotta torps. the chroniton and plasma aoe is all i could think about.
