That said I agree with the OP's frustration. However, carriers are rather powerful and when you mention the Rapid Fire nerf I sincerely hope you mean BFAW and not Cannon Rapid Fire... Because if you are putting Cannons on a Carrier... Yeah... Well..

As for the Carrier Spam reduction it seems that from other Cryptic Responses they are trying to lower the number of things on the screen but want to make the lower number more worthwhile. So quality over quantity. I welcome that change if they implement it but hurting the Carrier's main purpose is not a good idea.

Thought I heard somewhere that Turrets were viable on carriers, particularly with attack pattern Delta.

Also B'rel Retro needs another nerf its been over powered for 8 months now are you going to make it explode when it gets a heal in cloak already because decloaking it was not enough I was hoping for another nerf before its 12 month anniversary.

I will assume that you won't mention future nerfs in any release notes as you usually don't, wouldn't be the same without the stealth nerfs just make it that much sweeter

THe Vo has 2, they reduce the spam, then 5 days after doing that intriduced scorp fighters that UP the spam and extra 45 targets, soooooooo not sure what they was thinking there. But Aux makes the time longer between each deployment.

PS. (nerfs apply to klinks only) Incorrect, i play both sides with many characters, its been spread around. Granted not as much as the carrier got, but lets give the benefit of the doubt there and see where the new tweaks for the carriers goes

Sure you can express it, but lets be factual on the time of when some of this has occured.
Ok, now we got everyhting out in the open. lets examine this a touch. see the yellow, most I agree with you, one point I do not.
I can see your frustrated, as a carrier pilot myself i can truly understand it.
However, talking about it does help, and I hope this helped you some. Make no mistake many of us have made it clear to the dev's our frustrations.

Actually he ment the carrier BOP pets used to have rapid fire as an abilty, they don't any more and completely suck for doing damage.

As for as doing damage goes, the voquv is completely useless. Beam cruisers can output more.
Mass carrier / pet spam, only works against pug nublets. Decent fleet teams with healing just laugh off pet spam.

The voquv in its current state is only really viable as a full aux healer flown by an engineer, due to its BO layout, even then its got big drawbacks.



If you aren't getting it from the OP post, it just expresses the frustration of KDF players have of just constantly getting screwed over in terms of ships and nerfs when compared to federation.

The goomba sucks (useless special)
The raptor sucks (can't turn, inferior to defiant)
The Voquv sucks (can't do dmg anymore)
The Brel is sucks / broken (decloaked by heals, super squishy)
The Hegh'ta sucks (outclassed by mvam)
The Vanarus sucks (crap drones, worst sci ship in the game and only kdf sci ship)
The Vorcha sucks, (DHC's on cruiser with only rapid 1, lol sucks)
The Karfi sucks (only two eng consoles and only 1 LT engineer make you super squish + too many tactical slots for a ship that moves like a cruiser)

Now you compared this to what feds have.

Star cruiser ( best healer in game + extra sci ens power is better than orions crappy interceptors )
Intrepid ( enough said )
DSSV (Vanarus with better shields and extra console)
MVAM (enough said)
Defiant (better than raptor)
Fleet escort ( better than goomba )
RSV ( no klingon version)
Nebula + Dyker ( no klingon version of sci ship that can have a LTC ENG)
Excelsior ( LTC tac on cruiser, while still keeping COM engineer + no KDF version, the only klingon ship thats close to this with a LTC tac is the voquv and it can't do dmg with gimped pets and only two tac consoles and carrier can't turn)

If this game was even remotely balanced then we would see good federation teams playing on klingon alts and owning all the time, but we don't. Why? because klingon ships are hand down inferior. Almost all of the federation teams that even try to play klingons vs other teams get completely owned when using klingons.

You put two teams with equal skilled players against each other with proper setups and federation will win most of the time, their ships are just plain superior and they have far more options. Noobs seem to think klingons are OP or whatever but this is mostly due to either federation players being nubs or not bringing the right ships / powers to a fight.

Whats worse is the state of the game is heading more towards federation favor with stupid cloak console for federation scis and latest incarnation of tac team which hurt the klingon cloaked alpha strike.

I keep hearing changes are coming or blah blah , but it just seems to be more of the same. More federation bias and imba and almost nothing for KDF or to lttile too late, with things like ****** female run animations and cstore costumes taking preference of glaring game and faction imbalance issues.

So pvp is a minitory , yea i get it. Doesn't stop the fact that PVP keeps getting rooted big time, with dumb changes and things constantly being broke like the UI and numerous glitchs and exploits.

Sorry this response went on alot longer that i had planned, and is not directed at anyone in particular but just a general venting.
