A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
Hello, i have just recently returned to the game and was considering starting over to get the full feel for the game again. But was wondering, at end game currently in pve, is there any particular class who is more in need or rarer at the moment?
Wouldnt want to start an engineer for instance and find out there are millions of them at admiral level and groups are looking for tacts or sci instead. That sorta thing. So since i enjoy playing all 3 types, before i start over, was wondering, which might be needed more currently, or are all 3 roughly balanced at the moment in terms of populations.
On FED side, I got the feeling that the Tacs were in need most of the time (though not much more). But it's also quite random, 1 time you get 3 people together and 2 of them might be tacs and 1 engi. The second time you get no Tacs.
It's hard telling, I mean if each type was bound to flying once type of ship it would be easier to tell I guess. But I'm an Eng flying a Intrepid class Sci vessel. I see a lot of Defiants flying around which would normally mean a lot of Tac's. But it is hard telling. On ground missions I can't say I've ever had a problem finding anyone of a certain type to go with me on missions.
In PvP, engineers are the rarest now. New ground combat made them harder to play, or at least different enough that many did not want to adapt. PvE is a lot more balanced.
Engame PvE doesn't require any specific class at the moment. The STFs are in such a poor state that practically every combination can do it. You are better with just playing what you like.
You still might see people posting that they need a specific class for their STF team, but only because they think they can't do it without them. Usually they search for science since many PUGs just stand in the open and wonder why they die on ground, so in this case they probably really need a medic
