I have also run into this bug, I think this bug was in the game before season 4 but was fixed. It seems to of happened when the Borg Invasions went live if that helps.

I've had this bug for about a week, high values for personal equipment like weapons and shields and opposite for the ship equipment. It's a real pain to keep swapping stuff to compare.
I also get the issue of torpedoes not showing any value.

Started with me when I got in my first shuttle to do the Delta flyer anomaly scanning stuff. I thought I'd equip my starship equipment (the breen set of 3) to beef up the shuttle incase I hit some bother. When the values were so low I assumed it was due to the shuttles power reducing them, Tried logging out etc but still remains.

I've noticed some screens do show correct info like reward screens, and the first time they enter your inventory, but after that its back to crazy numbers, filled a ticket last week but nothing heard

Wondering if a reinstall would work, anyone tried yet. Anything useful need backing up before a reinstall or is everything server side?

this is a bug that's been going on for a long time now and as far as I've seen none of the staff is acknowledging it...

What it looks like is happening is that whatever logic is being used to convert the DB info for items into readable numbers for the user is switching the two types of items.

Ground Items are using the Space item algorithm and Space items are using the Ground item algorithm.

This leads to inflated numbers for Ground items and decreased numbers for Space items.

I also have this bug and its REALLY annoying for a new player because I can't properly compare two items anymore without equipping. Since I don't have any frame of reference to compare the items based on name only, I have to equip both items and remember what the previous item's stats were before unequipping it.

That looks like it might just be the probable cause, and therefore easy to fix for the DEV's. If you have not done so, and since you seem to have a great understanding of the probable reason for this, would it be possible for you to submit this info in and in game bug report as to your suspicion of the cause?

The DEV's do not routinely read posts here for that type of info, though on occasion, a moderator might send them a report of this type??

Obi I came to the same conclusion, it's too much of a coincidence for space values to decrease and ground to increase. I bet every item in the game is given a certain value say a good ground item of a certain level would be 95 out of 100 and a good space item also 95 out of 100 (for arguments sake) and then each item is given assigned a Space or Ground multiplyer. Maybe i'm over analysing but I agree something has swapped around.

I just realised the biggest annoyance of all. If you wanted to compare a Rare item etc. you would have to bind it, and sometimes only to find it wasn't as good as the equipped item. I cant see a way around it apart from visiting stowiki. You can sort of work it out with the high value stuff but turrets end up with numbers like 1 or 1.3! What a pain

On the flip side who wants to buy a Mk I personal shield and Mk I hand phaser with 4000+ capacity and dps respectivley 1 shot one kill....honest

Still having it. It's hardly game-breaking, but it is highly annoying.

Edit: Just happened again. This is now 21 boxes that have disappeared with no item given. Filed a ticket on this, this is now being ridiculous that you can churn out fluff, but can't fix your game.

Is this last part for Aide The Planet Rewards??

If so, I believe this is the wrong thread to include that in. This thread is for Cargo Items showing the Wrong Information, IE: Personal Shield with 4475 HP. Things like that.

Lost Items from Aide the planet might get lost in here??
