what do i need to know inorder to learn Cannon: Rapid Fire III.

Only a few things.

1. Be a tactical captain
2. Put 9 points into the Cannons skill


Or, if you are not a Tactical Captain, find someone who is and ask them to train your boff for you.

you need to be captain rank ?

Nope ,as Koopa wrote *you need to be a TACTICAL captain/character* as each of the different characterclasses can only teach their classpowers. Engineering Character can teach engineering skills ,Science Character teaches science skill and the Tactical Character teaches Tactical skills (Cannon Rapid Fire is a Tactical skill so only he dcan train it)

The points will go into the teir 2 level of skills. Or if you're looking at the skill tab it would be 2nd column from the left.

To train it yourself you must have picked Tactical for your character.

However you will need to be piloting an escort and be at least Captain rank to use the power. Meaning you must be at least Capt. 1 and be in a Defiant.

the thing is im am tacitcal and have the cannon skill max but i dont have rapied fire 3, so im confused on why not then. im rank commander

rapid fire 3 is a trainable skill you have to train your tac Boff in it

Ok here is where you can find it. If you hit, by default, U and click your character you will see a botton called Train Officer. Click that and you should see Cannon rapid Fire 3 as a skill you can train. However I will say again in order to use the skill you'll have to wait until you hit Captain and fly a Defiant.
