I bought the Venture refit today, and applied it to my AGT Galaxy.

Noticed that the Dual Beams fire out of the sides of the saucer instead of from the phaser cannons.

Please tell me this wasn't intentional

Also, you can't swap out the center nacelle from the pylon.

I'm starting to like the Antimatter Spread though.

Just tried out DHC's and they don't fire out of the cannons either

Dual beam banks always fire from the edge of the saucer, unfortunately. The Galaxy and Nebula both do. One ship that stands out is the Luna, which fires from the front, but it's still not the actual array.

Actually, if you're using the Galaxy version of the saucer, Dual Beam banks and Dual cannons fire from the two cannons to either side of the bridge.

Here's some nifty screen shots Showing where the Venture Galaxy-X *should* fire these weapons from. These shots were taken using the Galaxy Saucer, so the weapon hard points are in the proper place. The Venture saucer was not as fortunate.
