My game, specifically on Holodeck, is extraordinarily quiet. While I can hear the "Woosh" when I log in on a character, and very faint noises when I interact with something or bring up the menu, it is nearly impossible to hear anything else (All of this is with my audio volume turned all the way up both in game and on my computer). However, my sound is perfect on Redshirt, can someone please help me resolve this issue?
I had the same problem after I re-installed Windows recently. It turned out my Windows audio settings were set for surround sound by default, when I only have 2.1 speakers. Setting it back to 2.1 fixed the issue. Don't know why it would happen on one shard and not the other though. Maybe it's worth trying the dreaded "re-verify all files" option.
