All you NEED, are TWO good escort pilots who know how to do their job, not get stupid, and not ge popped.

I'm an Eng/escort DR. I just run down loose probes and camp the appropriate gate. If a cube decides to focus on me, I just pop a buff and run. LET the cruiser draw the attention and do my JOB.

KA space is done.

Yes it is still winable,

once you warp in, take out the cube, probes and spheres in the middle, have the tank kite the tac cube to the left gate.
Whiel the others head to sit behind the left gate.
Start pounding the tac cube ones its in range of the people behind the gate, for bonus effect, try to keep the tac cube about 5-7km in front of the left gate when it blows.
That will take out the first wave of probes right there for you.
Then pound on the gate till the shield is up, ignore the spheres, once the shield is up and all probes are gone. speed over to the wave from the right gate. Take out the probes, spheres, mob up the remaining spheres and get back behind the left gate. Repeat as long as needed to bring the left gate down.
If your sci has gravwell, the better, have him fire it at the probes, it will clump them all together and you can quickly finish them off with scatter volley, torpedo spread.

Once the left gate is down, there is obviously no need to zip back and forth between the gates anymore, which makes it easier, IF:

Have the tank kite one of the cubes away, usually the right one, no one else should attack the cube, keep pets in for now as well. Once the cube is out of range of the weapons, take care of the remaining cube. Then behind the right gate, pound, destroy probes, spheres, pound gate till its down. The tank keeps the lone cube occupied during all this and kites it away from the gate. this prevents more cubes from spawning.

Idali has the right of it. One tactic my fleet uses now is for everyone to as many AoE skills as possible, things like gravity well, Fire at Will and the new Torpedo spread. While single target damage may be lesser all the AoE really helps with managing all of those probes.

Seriously. Removing the conduit's regeneration and moving the conduit itself inside its shield is not a fix. The first space part is still excessively difficult, too many spheres spawn and draw you into combat and slow you down. After about 30 attempts at the mission, I'm done attempting it until the 1 gate-at-a-time spawning is restored. (But this is unlikely, so all you people who would be saying that the devs won't change it can just not say anything.) Kthxbai.

mwhhahahahaa me and my fleet did it in just under 3 mins. it takes work on getting everyone to work as a team on it. so yes its winnable. if you have the right people willing to listen.

ok so there appears to be a lot of complaints. do you folks need a strategy written down to how to do it. cause again we blew it out of space with little to no time at all. hell the cure takes longer for us than KA. and infected seems to be a near walk in the park on our good days. if we put 7-8 hrs of our time together we can down all 3.

Sorry man, it's back at the pre-broken point now, doubt it's going to change again. The space section was always a little bit of a gear/build check... well as much as and PvE section in the game.

You may just need to get some better gear or team up with some people that do it regularly.

It is very "winnable".

The key is have 2 tacs in escorts. Heck, they can even be beam escorts (mine was).

You have them split up per gate, and then the other 3 split up evenly. What the other 3 ships are isn't as specific, but hopefully you have at least one tac in a ship, tac/cruisers that know what they are doing will work.

Team#1: Tac/escort + sci or eng anything (keep your most offensive non tac/escort here)

Team#2: Tac/escort + everything else

With this setup once the 2 ship side takes out their side and then blast over to help with the other side while someone keeps a 3 minute timer going. Once there is about 45 seconds left, the 2 ships break off and rush back to their gate. (this is crucial, as they need to be prepared to nuke the gate as SOON as it drops its shields). If the timer is missed more than once, you are probably going to have some issues with ads.

Rinse and repeat till the gate is down, and then you mop it up. Works quite well as long as you have decent dps and smart players. Trying it without the 2 tac escorts though would be very hard, you would need some killer players to make it work.

Done it earlier Today, no Troubles at all.

Team #1 Escort + SCI

Team #2 Escort + Cruiser + Cruiser




I know KA can be hard if you do it the first Time and you are a bit confused what to do or not to do.

Just calm down, relax, think, play and WIN
