I have a problem. Or might have a problem.

I just perchased the updated akria on the Holodeck and it has no Point defence console. I havent tryied redshirt or tribble yet.

and I used almost 70,000 ec's to buy it new. So what is going on ???

If you paid EC for it, then you did not get the C-Store version. So that would explain it having no console.

I love John Eaves' D4 battlecruiser (the K't'inga refit) but that Thunderchild is just plain ugly. If you were wanting an escort retrofit, why not do something cool like the Steamrunner class, why take a great design (Alex Jaeger's Akira class) and mess it up and make it fugly?

It's called modular construction, and it's already provided for in the game lore. Read the Path to 2409.
