Agreed. A bit more notice of where and how to get them would help. I am sure we'll get something as time goes on though.

There are DOFF recruitment assignments?? I've never seen one. I logged in today after reading this thread to search for one and still not there. I went to SFA for a half hour and one didn't pop up still. These need to be increased in frequency, devs.

For Fed's:

Go Sol Space -> SFA -> EDS -> Sol Space.

Check "sector" assigments, recruitment at each of your stops. If there are currently NO recruitment assigments avail on sector, pick a short running sector mission (less then 1 hour). This will pop up possible other assigments, that are currently NOT visible to you, if there are not on cooldown.

I'm running approx 4 to 5 recruitment assigments at the same time, with this cycle ~ around 70ish Doffs currently, with 10ish on the way to join my 'shortly' (between 24 to 48 hours)

For KDF:
Forget about it, you are screwed as always, as there are not enough social zones for KDF for recruitment to pop up

FED & KDF
In 'any' sector space, look out for diplomatic, medical and development missions, Some of this missions can award you with a high quality Doff, is sucessful.

I have had as much as 5 recuritment missions running at once too. I had wondered how this came to be since turning them in, I do not find as many now. I think one reaosn is because I love running (less than 1 hour) missions. I'll test this to be certain.

We are still tuning the frequency, so please keep the feedback coming in this and every other area.

On the issue of communicating better where recruitment assignments can happen, I agree, and we are looking into ways of accomplishing this.

I have purchased 2 doff packs from the Tribble C-store. I check ESD, SFA, sol at least once or twice a day, and pick up any recruitment missions that are available. I am now running with a roster of about 70+ doffs. This includes a set of colonists that I picked up, a prisoner that I bought off the exchange (1 million EC - ouch! thank you fleet bank), and about 5 doffs I bought from the SFA caitian for reaching the next level tier.

At around 60+ doffs, I found that I am able to max my assignments (20) most of the time if I wanted. Now, I am being more selective in choosing which ones I take. I am mostly going for military, medical, and colonial as these are the ones that I have the most XP in at the moment, and I have the best chance of reaching the next tier with.

Could we maybe see an adjustment to patrol awards so that they offer not just what they do now but also the choice of dilitjium or in some cases DOFFs?

Being able to get, say a green colonist doff or other doffs for patrols would be really great.

Also will there be a way to get individual doffs via a store such as we have with boffs?

As to where doff assignments can be picked up:
Galaxy map.

Obviously every sector block has assignments but if you only have the planets/systems where they can be picked up on the galaxy map that would be useful too. Maybe just having a special icon for systems/planets that offer assignments on my galaxy map if limiting shown planets to those with assignments should prove to be a bad thing.
