"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
So I ran into an issue when I hit Captain that is preventing me from obtaIining a Captain level ship.
I submitted a ticket that stated the following:
I just got promoted to Captain. I was contacted by Admiral Quinn who told me I had just been promoted to Commander. When I try to obtain a Captain level ship it says I do not have room for that. I have 7 ship slots available. I cannot select a commander level ship either.
I am also showing Promotion Commander in my mission list with everything completed except obtain a new ship.
After almost three days I received this response:
Thank you for contacting us. We currently lack the information to get an accurate picture of the issue you discuss in your ticket. Please edit your ticket and include as much information as you can so that we can do our best to resolve the issue. Helpful information may include
1) Which character is currently experiencing the issue?
2) Does this character have any available ship slots?
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for playing.
Now granted there may be more details that would be helpful to identify the problem I did not put in my ticket, however my character name is listed in the ticket and I did state that I had 7 ship slots left. I edited my ticket and stated that my character name is lalready listed in the ticket and that I had already stated how many slots I had left.
When I read the CS response my first thought was whether they had even bothered to read the ticket before responding. I have not had to file a support ticket before. Is this typical of the CS responses or was someone just having an off day.
Yes I have room in my inventory. The peculiar thing for me is that it shows that I am redeeming the Commander level ship promotion which I have already completed.
I originally got the message from Admiral Quinn saying congratulations you are being promoted to Captain. When I got to ESD to talk to him it changed to congratulations on getting promoted to Commander.
