I recently did a few of the Romulan episodes, and I noticed that occasionally the Mogai escorts would fire heavy plasma torpedoes which would approach my ship, bounce off, and then randomly target one of the Mogai ships and smash into them. While this is very amusing to watch, I don't think it's working as it's supposed to.

Actually i was wondering the same thing. I thought that i had equipped an item that was messing with the heavy torpedoes, having them fire and return to sender, but i cannot find anything to explain it.

This is a very long running bug, that I seem to remember was fixed for a bit, then it broke again, and I think that in some patch soon, they say they fixed it again.

But no, its nothing you did or didn't do, Romulans just seem to be emo like that.
