I would like this Klingon disruptor type to be added in game as a reward, possibly for the upcoming FE series.

It should scale with your level, like the TOS style weapons. The old school Klingon disruptors are too cool to pass up, seen in several of the movies and DS9/TNG. Similar looking models are in game, but are low level and arent quite the same. It would be cool to have some Klingon disruptors that can be Mk X/XI without being oversized and a bit silly looking.

Your wrong, im not talking about the small silver piddly TOS Disruptor. Im talking about the Search For Spock style, that continued to be seen throughout Star Trek since.

It's a bit odd to make a thread about a "classic" disruptor and then mean the TMP model when "Star Trek Classic" is actually an accepted term for TOS so it's a bit confusing.

As for "small silver piddly TOS Disruptor".
I got one of the 1500 Master Replica standing on my shelf and it's certainly not small.

When you want a really big model I'd recommend the "Death Sting" version.

Regardless of how big the actual model may be IRL, the in game TOS disruptor is rather small in my characters hands, not that I have an issue with that...better than it being oversized (lol). I figured the Search For Spock style Disruptor would be consider classic by STO era terms, where STO is full of new tech.

But then there's the risk of Cryptic making the ST3 model (which IMO makes no sense to use, the "Beak Nose" model from Star Trek 6 was used in the TNG era

) too small as well right?

The problem with such assumptions like your use of the term "classic" is only one:
until you explain how you use it, people will most likely assume you use it in a sense like...well everyone else.

The beak nose model is very similar, no reason why they cant just make both. Though I think they look similarly enough to where it doesnt matter. The more important thing to me is that:

1. It makes it into the game.

2. Its not oversized.

3. It has the extended stock attachment as an option.

HMM, ideally they make the weapon in 2 (4 if we include the ST3 version) incarnations:
pistol and carbine.
