120 is the theoretical upper limit.

there is a chance that certain trash mobs will drop data chips, you might get an extra datachip from the optional objectives. if you run the specific task force on the relevant day (see calendar) you get double rewards. if you run them on elite you get double (elite is very hard though), and you can even get a piece of tech drop that will get you the item you need straight away.

and i think that only applies to the XI gear. If my memory servers me you could get the mark x gear in 60 tops.
