Why is this ship in the c-store. It used to be for sale for Energy Credits (137,000e). Now it's 800 Cryptic points? This is not right. I've had that ship, and I got rid of it for it's big brother at VA, but now I have to buy the lower grade one if I want that new fancy console? That isn't right.

Cryptic is now asking for money for both version of this ship? This is not right! I'm real close to leaving this game, hell i'm getting to the point of asking for a refund.

Is Cryptic trying to drive out all of the old vets? if it is it's doing a very good job at it.

I can understand many of the changes to the game, and some i like but this just says one thing,"Too hell with our old customers."

i disagree with it being a rip. Think what that ec can get you later on or at commander level. and on top of that you only have to buy it ONCE from the c-store and you can have it for free on all your alts and in my eyes is better than always shelling out 137k ec for every alt.

137k ec is chicken feed, hell most of my gear for my VA costs many times that. I'd rather pay 137k ec for each one then the one time 800c.

Your not thinking of the VA version are you? the F2P C-store model has moved the T3 Nebula and Excelsor to teh C-store.

Pays to follow the forums. You could have bought it for EC prior to the conversion and just held onto it, let the conversion create the console, and then drop it.

But to be fair I didn't completely game the system as I bought the Nebula-R and Excelsior-R in the recent 20% off sales. Was down from 1200 to 960, which is almost 50% off the new price of 1600.

The T4 ships (Bellerophon, Venture, Vor'Kang) were a similarly good deal, if you look at it that way.

well, if you are a VA it is worth it, it has a T5 boff setup and also it gets twice as many transwarp powers.
