So, I was excited to see that there would be a rare Jem'Hadar cross faction ship to use. I have been looking for a gimmick for one of my toons that I've had for nearly two years and still don't know what I want to do with, and this proved to be the perfect opportunity.

And then I spent nearly $40 without getting it. I exchange a ton of dilithium for not enough c-points and tried again without getting it.

I then log on here to see if anyone's having better luck, and I notice people are spending $500 or more without getting the ship.

I get that you want this ship to be rare, and it should be. However, I feel that the C-Store strategy is not the way to do it. If you are testing to see if this is a good idea, I can tell you it is not. I have been playing this game for a year and a half, and have stood behind it the entire time. However, this is the first time I've actually seen red and been angry at the strategy behind this ship at the same time.

As an alternative, let me propose that you allow players to earn the ship just like they earn STF gear. I have been spamming STFs on my level cap players and been having a blast. Don't get my item yet? No problem, I'll wait and play again. The more I play, the more I buy from your C-Store, and the more people I will recommend to play this game and the more they will buy.

If this continues, and if there are no other ways to earn this ship and if this keeps happening, then I'm going to question where this game is going. I've never been cynical about this game before. However, I think this is a VERY bad idea. You have built a game that largely has had new ships, new weapons, new toys. I like that. I consider that content. I still really want featured episodes and new STFs, and I believe that you'll deliver on those things. I'm fine with methods of regulating ships, but I am not spending another C-Point on Star Trek Online until I don't feel that I'm being ripped off. I'm not threatening to quit or defame Cryptic or anything, I just don't see playing a game that regularly does things like this in any way but casually. Which is unfortunate, because I've put a lot of money into the game. This is why I'm angry.

I realize that all of this doesn't mean a huge amount when it comes to the big picture, but I hope someone reads this, can see past the numbers, and sees the logic behind what I'm saying here. I don't think you're out to make players miserable, and you need our money to continue making this game. I'm cool with that and have been fine supporting you up until this, but I'm NOT a supporter of this Winter Pack fiasco. Please listen and do something.

i posted in the other 4 Threats with many other Players but i think Cryptic dont care. All i got from some higher Forum Members are like "Noone push u to buy it" "Are u going in a Casino and want the Money back after losing?" "Buhuu next whining 5 Year old Nerd" (thats not exaktly what they say but this is what i understand of the comments)
Im not seeing any Cryptic Staff care about the winter package Forumthreats.

This was the best and profitable Event for Cryptic for Years. I think we sponsored they for 1 or 2 Years in 2 Days.
And yea if they keep it so the game is doomed
I realy realy hope Cryptic read the Threats and take a Heart.
I think they should give us the Option to take the Gift Items and give it to Q and he give us the half of the spend C Points for it, like in real. Many Peoples in real got some Present they dont want take it to the shop and buy some other stuff for it. So many Player would not soooo angry and Cryptic make money at all.
Sad that i sell so many of the crap for cheap price (inventory and bank full....)
I have spend 18000 c for the gits and i will be happy to get only 6000 c of it back for kick out all this trash items in my bank and inventory...
