I can only lanuch them every ten minutes but the moment I launch them, they are instantly destroyed.
Pointless device if they don't let them last longer than 1 minute.
Or they could make the cooldown a lot shorter, or they could cloak the turret.
Besides, these turrets are teeny, they shouldnt be able to be hit so bloody easily.
Just my two cents.
Deployables have an insane amount of threat generation. There have been times when I've engaged a group of enemies and one or two will peel off and move a hundred yards out of their way to destroy a regen generator that hadn't despawned from my last encounter. I've often used this glitch to take out elites... Plop a genny somewhere out of the way and hope the dumb AI leads a couple away.
I would really like to see all the spawned pets (Escorts/turrets) get a general buff in all aspects. But a lot of this goes back to the stupid AI in the game. STO has one of the worst AI systems is any game that I have played. Almost all PVE contacts act exactly the same, different weapons/abilities but the same. Ground encounters Boffs run/jump in random circles and constantly walk in front of the player character. All npcs (including spawned turrets/escorts) are really stupid in this game and the AI really needs to be upgraded.
