I assume CapnLogan is still lead ship artist.

Now that the ground has been prepared for F2P, and the +1 ships are all done, might Cryptic have time to go back to the existing ships and look at some fixes once more?

The Sovvy, Akira, Galaxy, Intrepid, etc.. got a once-over, so I hope theres some more of that love available.

The Olympic class is direly in need of updates, as it looks almost nothing like the canon vessel. Heres the STO version...

The shape is far too faceted and lumpy, and the damn circular deflector at the front never existed in the original model. The nacelles are completely wrong, as the original had a more rectangular cross-section...

Is there any chance of having this looked at at some point? This is one of the only ACTUAL 25th century ships in Star Trek, so its a real shame that its essentially missing from STO.

I would recommend that the Daedalus-class starship be added as a cheap 120 point skin for the Olympic/Hope/Horizion class. No special features, just more ship model parts.

That's a good idea. The Daedalus could work as a skin for the Olympic. Adding it would probably make some TOS fans happy.

Ive loved the Olympic since I saw it in the finale. I became a science officer -specializing as a medic-, bought the Olympic bridge back (a derp action, i know) and raced to get my Olympic.

I was so disgusted at the design and the other two classes that I just started flying cruisers. Man, that thing hospital ship needs some love. Id be open to buying a refit or retrofit Olympic- with an EMH console if that sweetens the idea to Cryptic.

But meh. Glad there was someone else out there who felt the same way.

I would support this, or a built in Science Team 1, 2, and 3. At Tier 5, of course.

Ah, see a Sci Team, I already trained a few officers with that ability. If that built in Sci Team x ability drained my BOFFs, Id stick with an EMH console or a super Biofunction Monitor.
