So, as the screenshots showed, no change on the phaser lance doing your procedure Tenkari.
did you try it with AP Weaponry in every slot? i mean so that every slot is still filled out? because the AP slinging Gal-X's i saw never once fired torps.... I have yet to get enough to get AP beams for every slot of my gal-x to try it.... next time i team with someone doing it i'll ask how they do it.

AP weapons have a significantly higher crit severity % when compared to other types of weapons with the same "special" stats IE CrtD/CrtH/Acc

Noticed they put out a couple more batches of test points on tribble, so I shelled out for a galaxy-X and thow 8 antiproton arrays I used to have on my excelsior on it. The lance is still phaser. Put some white disruptor beams on it, still phaser.

I think what you saw was a normal beam overload using those antiproton arrays, since the animation is pretty much the same except for a small build up before the blast with the lance.

odd. because it sounded exactly like the lance in sound effects.
