I really like this a lot. It would be a step in the right direction to making this game more like Star Trek and less like George Lucas Presents Star Trek.

I LOVE this idea. Really hope the Devs take a look at this thread and give this idea some consideration!

It reminds me of the bonus points you get in Metroid Prime for scanning all the technology, flora and fauna.

In fact, I would add artifacts (both primitive and modern so some would fit into archeology and others into engineering) to the flora and fauna. It should be part of a major exploration revamp.

This idea totally has my vote and that KDF hunting missions needs to be aded First.

This is a really great idea But, since the post before the one today was made more than 30 days ago, I have to close it I hope the OP is still out there and would be willing to recreate it!
