Just looking to get some feedback on my current one, and open a discussion about them with the Season 5 changes. And for referance, I'm a KDF engineer. So lets get this shindig started!

Now, many of y'all are likely starting to wonder why Aux2SIF 1. Well, to answer that, yes it only heals me 2661 hull, but it's spammable with the DOFF (15s CD) and gives +17 all resist for 10 seconds. Good for rapid quick heals, and more so for the extra resistance in a pinch. RSP is more or less a filler for the other LT level ability, but is nice in a pinch if RSF or my EPtS are on cooldown and I get slammed by the Borg's always spammed Tachyon Beam. The two Mk IXs are there due to a lack of Rare/Prototype Borg Salvage and the fact I don't feel like spending an arm and a leg on the Exchange for Disruptor Beam Arrays. Overall, I built it to be highly survivable, but provide a strong bite at the same time without having to sacrifice for Aux2ID spam or stack RCS Accelerators for a cannon type build.

A few things, why a chroniton torpedo? I think mines would proc better, and you could alternatively use another tricobalt thing there or another beam array or whatever.

Also the maintenance doffs are useless currently. Aux to SIF has a cooldown of 15s with or without them. I don't think it works for engineering team yet either.

And your power settings are a bit strange. If you aren't going to run EPt Weapons then you really should put weapon power at 100, especially for STFs. Seeing as you have an empty ensign slot, you can easily afford to run another EPtX.

You should likely work on upgrading your equipment, the engine/shield/deflector especially would be nicer as one of the sets. The original Borg set is relatively cheap, the Breen set is practically free, and if you have dilithium around, Aegis is a nice option too. I guess you are probably going to replace it all with an STF set, though so you may just want to consider the Breen parts in the interim.

Merely a filler, as with the Mk IX arrays. Eventually going to replace it with another Tricobalt launcher.

Not much else to slot for anything decent, really. The Projectile DOFFs don't ever seem to proc, and Tricobalts lately have been going into a completely random additional 30s cooldown for no ******n reason. =\

It's a balanced one for when I more often than not have things ****ed off at me. I can hit back fairly hard, and can take a hit in return while flying circles around the Borg. If I find I'm not holding aggro over tac captains or others, I'll usually reroute to weapons.

The reason I haven't grabbed a Borg set is I'm routing all of my EDCs into getting my Mk XI Honor Guard ground set right now, leaving Rare/Prototype Salvage to upgrade the rest of my ship systems, as the group I run with for Elites favours ground over space STFs. Breen set I considered, but like the Borg set, the deflector sucks for a cruiser compared to my generic Positron deflector, and the Reman shields are a cheap alternative to dealing with the Dilithium tax for crafting (ugh). Does what I need it to do when pugging around space missions. Haven't seen a single tech drop (uncommon or up) on this character to pick up replacements or I'd already be swapping things out.
