Yes, Escorts, Raptors and BoPs all seem to turn to slow now on Holodeck.
Tribble seems fine.
Better than fine as on Tribble I can reach 80% Bonus defense max (with 2 aegis equipment) and have 60 more points of shields for some reason.

A ninja nerf to make Escorts appear less for the Cruisers and Science vessels?

I've only played my raptor since the skill reset, and it was definitely turning worse than usual, and I mentioned it in OPvP (had trouble keeping my cannons on a fleet escort). I'm too tired to go out tonight, so I'll probably be on later and test it out with a defiant and maybe also a BoP. Gonna have to check my values and see if the turn rate displayed is any worse. I do have three points in driver coils, so maybe that gives me greater speeds and therefore a worse turning radius. Unless that skill works exclusively in sector space, but I think it has some impulse bonuses.

My deifiant is turning better than pre-Season 5, and my speed is up too. But my survivability is much worse. Not sure what I did wrong, if anything, judging by these posts.

Just had a check, exactly the same as before at 38.7 deg/sec

Defiant Retrofit with Sau Paulo skin (although i don't see how the skin would make any difference)

Gameplay wise it is doing more damage but suffering a little more for it, however I noticed less serious damage on Elites but that may have been luck. Overall i prefer this new skill setting.

My Fleet Escort has actually improoved from 34.1 to 34.3 degrees a second, only change was in the skill tree.

We need to dig into this a bit more folks. I like hearing that people are not seeing this. Makes me think something buggie. I play for up to 40 or so hours a week. I'm telling you my turn rate numbers look the same, but feel incredibly off. I'm 9'd out in thrusters and engine power boxs. My shields are always set at 25 so I can have my engine power hover close to the 70 mark. I like being nimble.

Those who are not seeing this difference: are you 9'd out in those? I

9 Imp thrusting and nothing in Engine Profficiency (though I have 9's in WCE and WCP) and I run engines at about 70 on my BoP. Still feels like the nose is slow, almost raptor slow.

guys, your turn rate numbers might be reading the same as before, but its far more sluggish. Which is why its hard to track down. Just because the number is displaying fine, doesnt mean the math in the back ground is fine. Something has to be off with how its arriving at the number, or affecting the ship itself. It is going to be harder for people to realize the difference in sluggish ness as time goes on and they get used to the new turning.

We need this investigated as soon as possible. My escort turns like a pig!

Could the hardpoints on the ships themselves somehow have changed? Similar to how a Defiant and a Raptor theoretically have the same turn rate, but the Defiant turns better due to it's 'center of gravity'?

Defiant and raptor do not have the same turn rate. And even still, the raptor vs. fleet escort the turns are identical. It is a myth that the shape means anything in the game.

I can also say without a doubt my ships do not turn worse than they used to, escorts, raptors, cruisers, whatever. They all feel the same, and the numbers bear that out. Of course none of them have 9 in impulse thrusters either.

However, I have heard it suggested that impulse thrusters does not increase turn rate past rank 3 for no apparent reason, yet continues to increase speed all the way to rank 9. This might give the illusion of a worse turn rate when you are constantly overshooting. Your speed most likely went up with the season 5 changes. I know all my escorts run less engine power than before because they were going too fast with the changes. Of course your turn rate is actually still the same in that case, its just a wider arc.
