Hi I have recently tried to access Star Trek Online with my usual account but it will not patch and keeps coming up with an error message at the bottom "Error 36: a file was locked that could not be open for writing". I checked around on the Forums and found someone who had the same problem and the thread suggested that a file by the name of "Star Trek Online.exe.deleteme" needs to be deleted but I cannot find that file anywhere. Could I get some assistance please.
What File path is your Windows in Are you using 64bit or 32bit.If your using 64bit then the path should be in the 64bit folder.Sounds too me either your running Vista or Windows 7 You have too unlock it id say.
Error 36 is all so a windows REg error when was the last time you cleaned the Reg on the computer.I would recommend CCleaner.http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
