"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
As the subject says, I can't even get the launcher to load enough to check for patches and such--it doesn't even get that far. I do know someone who plays Champions and says *that* side of things seems to be working (don't the two pretty much have the same launcher anyway? I know that the STO launcher gives the option to check for updates to CO, at least). I'm wondering if this is related at all to the server disconnect problems that I've been having (and it looks like others have complaining about in the forum) the last day or two (though I was able to connect and play *yesterday* decently).
Or did someone at Cryptic/PerfectWorld just take the stupid pills and not provide enough server for even the Returning players much less the soon to be arriving f2p masses, and this is the unfortunate result? Disappointing if so, since they should already know about this sort of problem from the Champions f2p launch. :-/
