By "customers," I mean me, and by "stuff," I mean a K'Vort BoP for my Klingin Admiral.

I coulda swore there was talk of the K'Vort coming in the C-store way back just after I quit, back in 2010. Why was it never added?

I'd buy it now, if it were offered.

  • Puchase a B'rel or B'rel Retrofit
  • Zoom in really close
  • Enjoy your new K'Vort

Trololol's outside, it would be cool to have a Captain Logan remake of the K'Vort as both a carrier and cruiser in STO. The cruiser version could have a special torpedo attack while the carrier would have fighters with a special sensors debuff attack that makes them impossible to track for 10-15 seconds. Any other ideas?

Cruiser is a good idea, but carrier............I'm at a loss for words

BoP is not exactly a shape ideal in terms of internal volume and unless you scale the ship up to really gigantic proportions (way beyond the roughly 350m it usually had) I'm not sure what it should carry. Those fighters would have to be really small...and from where to launch them?

In case of the cruiser idea, I'd also love to see a special torpedo.
The one the K'vort in "Redeption" fired at Gowron's ship looked a lot different from a conventional Photon Torpedo (which pretty much all look alike).

perhaps a torpedo that is rather effective against shields as opposed to one that is effective vs hull would be a nice addition to such a ship.

I like the idea of a K'Vort cruiser-BOP hybrid. I aslo support the idea of a torpedo effective againt sheilds. Just curious, would it be a special torpedo like the Hara'peng, or would it be a consol that modifys ANY torpedos equipped to be effective against shields? I would suport a consol.

Good question, I think both would be posible.
We've got both a precedent for a special torp ('Peng and the Bioneural Warhead) and a console that can "buff" weapons like the Exeter "Tailpipe hunter" and the Photonic Shockwave buff.
The obvious question of a console, at least for me, is how it could be blanced properly because we've got torpedo weapons with very different properties (DPS, DPV, RoF) and how they'd be buffed/changed by this console. Some weapons might end up benefiting from it more than others. For example a buffed Tric might have more firepower than a buffed Photon.
Or the other way around when all buffed torps have the same damage potential against shields a Photon might be more beneficial since it would not suffer from the same RoF as a Tric.

My suggestion for Stats for a K'Vort BOP-Cruiser hybrid is as follows:

Hull: 30,000 HP
Weapons: 4 Fore, 4 Aft
Turn rate: 17 degrees, 17 inertia
Crew: 300
Consols: 3 Engineer, 3 Science, 3 Tactical OR 4 Engineer, 2 Sciene, 3 Tactical
Device slots: 3
BOFF layout: 1 Commander Engineer, 1 Universal Lt. Commander, 1 Lt. Science, 1 Lt. Tactical, 1 Universal Ensign

I like K'vorts, we can have em, just stick a bicycle pump in a B're. Then again, *I* also like the Regent's Negh'Var, we can run that through the re-bigulator in order to get our KDF Flag Ship.

As for torpedoes, I dunno, we already have the Transphasic torpedoes, I think 20% is fine with me, run that with the Peng, a Tri or a Bio torpedo and you've got yourself a pretty decent 1-2 punch.
