Yeah, the title pretty much says it all. For some reason all my ingame shadows seem to be very blocky jagged with shadows set on medium. Occasionally in sector space and certain maps (especially Alpha Trianguli sector block) the large gas clouds begin to spazz out, shaking and fragmenting. Thats the best i can describe it. I tried playing around with my graphics card to no avail. maybe I missed something? I own an Alienware m11x, specs on the Alienware website.


In the first two pictures you'll notice how jagged the shadows are. In the lost two you'll see the same jaggedness in the gas clouds while theyre going haywire, leading me to believe theyre from the same cause. Any ideas?

Same for me i have textures that are flashing/shimmering......new nividea drivers so thats not the issue.

Happened to me in a few random spots, but the biggest area where I see it is the Defari system which has been that way as far as I can tell since August 2010
