I created a new trial account today and they had 1 normal character slot like usual, but also had another 1 for Foundry only.
So they have gained a foundry character slot wheras older accounts seemed to have gained 1 foundry slot then lost a normal one later.
you are close, when the foundry was introduced they gave us all a slot to CHOSE to use for foundry, Same went for KDF, what they've done now is taken that choice from you, you WILL ONLY use it for Foundry and or KDF, NOTHING else. So in my case, I've lost 2 slots that I had because they took the CHOICE from me.
I do believe multiple folks have said nothing will change, well this is a change to me, and one that I don't like, I want my choice back Stop taking choice away from your players Cryptic, it really looks bad.
They should realize that these bugs will carry over to F2P, want to know what that means? More ****ed off people when they encounter these bug, or they'll be turned off from STO altogether.
Last year, in July, we tribble testers advised Cryptic that anomalies were broken, and that the system would not drop anything other than the lowest anomalies. We begged the Devs to NOT push the build, and had the belief that they would not do so.
WHAT A FARCE.
Instead of listening to feedback, the DEVs implemented multiple broken systems, including the ruination of anomaly drops for nearly two months.
Did they react to our outrage? Did they stop the train wreck before it started when they already knew what would happen?
No, they did not. They chose to instead implement a flawed and broken system, contrary to our requests.
I've finally gotten the point.
Nothing we say or do here matters, and to be honest, it never did.
Cryptic is going to continue to treat us anyway they want. They think we love star trek more than we appreciate being treated decently.
It KILLS me that FINALLY when Stormy comes out and admits that we got boned over content in the last year, that in the same post he tells us we need to move on.
There isn't ANYTHING that you guys can do to offset or mitigate our anger?
Same issue. Lost a slot upon deleting a character. I'm afraid to delete any others to make space. I had purchased two additional character slots in the early days of the game but there appears to be no way to prove that in the C-Store. Crossing my fingers that they have records of these transactions somewhere. I also seem to have no ability to access the Foundry anymore. I'm assuming that is related to this issue.
This is ridiculous. I'd hoped that this bug would have been fixed for season 5, but it's not. I play other MMO games (including Champions) for which I've bought character slots and this doesn't happen with any of them. Here's what we should do: Everyone who is having this problem should submit a bug report a day about it until it gets fixed.
